About this release

Quiet Growth is the public brand. Development builds may still use the working name Quiet Growth. This guide describes the existing app’s behavior; the submitted build and its App Store Connect notes identify the final release.

Purpose & business model

Quiet Growth offers non-clinical support for adults changing pornography habits. It includes urge breathing and anchors, daily check-ins, recurring routines, a private journal with on-device dictation, cumulative grove progress, and optional AI insights, suggestions, and reflection questions from Pip. There is no pornography content, website blocking, browsing monitoring, community chat, or live voice conversation.

Premium is an App Store auto-renewable subscription with monthly and yearly plans. No Quiet Growth account is required to purchase or use local app features. Account creation is requested when Pip’s AI is enabled.

Reviewer access

Complete onboarding to reach the paywall. The paywall includes Sign in and Restore purchases. Account-based AI features require a reviewer account with an entitlement and explicit AI consent. Credentials and any special access instructions are supplied privately in App Store Connect’s App Review Information, never on this public page. No reviewer account is represented as provisioned by this website.

Suggested review path

  1. Onboarding: review the adult audience statement, recovery-context explanation, cloud-processing consent, and usage analytics disclosure. Confirm that AI consent is a separate choice.
  2. Paywall: review the selected plan’s localized price, period, any eligible trial, renewal terms, Restore purchases, Terms, and Privacy links. Subscribe without creating a Quiet Growth account.
  3. Local app: try urge help from the + menu, add a journal entry, complete a daily check-in, and view grove progress. Use synthetic information.
  4. Pip: sign in using the private review instructions, grant AI consent, and review questions or insights. Personalized suggestions need sufficient real recorded history; before that, starter steps are used.
  5. Privacy: in Settings, review Pip’s AI, Let Pip learn from my journal, What Pip can read, Clear Pip’s memory, Share usage analytics, and How your data is handled. Individual journal entries can be excluded.
  6. Purchases: Settings → Manage subscription and Restore purchases. Trial and renewal status are shown when available.
  7. Account deletion: while signed in, Settings → Account → Delete account. This needs a connection and permanently removes the account, server data, and local app records. It does not cancel Apple billing.

External services & sensitive data

Apple handles purchases and optional Sign in with Apple. Supabase handles account authentication and structured account data. The API is hosted on DigitalOcean. OpenAI processes permitted AI context only after explicit consent. Journal text may be analyzed transiently but is not stored in our server database; derived structured data is stored with the account. Turning AI off deletes server-derived recovery data. Provider retention policies apply.

Dictation requires on-device speech recognition, has no server fallback, and never saves or sends audio. First-party usage analytics are optional, limited to allowlisted content-free events, and deleted when turned off. There are no ads, data sales, or third-party analytics SDKs.
